I know literally nothing about the Quake Live scene, but I'd like to get your thoughts on a guy who's claiming to be a past professional in both Quake and Counter-Strike. The person in question is WinD ( you can watch his videos here: ) and he repeatedly states his sponsors including, but not limited to, Diet Mt. Dew and Monster energy drinks. My question is, is this guy legit or delusional?

Akt defektovki avtozapchasti blank. I'll include resources below: His Linkedin: - Video featuring fatal1ty claiming he's a former pro: - His banned Steam profile: - Confronted by neteX in CS:GO regarding cheating and possibly fake sponsors. Haha, I hear you. I do think it's bullshit, but the part that weirds me out and confuses me is what sounds like fatal1ty corroborating his story.

Just doesn't make a lot of sense. The VAC and twitch bans for viewbotting and cheating obviously lead me to believe that he's full of shit in general, plus I know my CS history and know for certain he's never played on any team of any meaning whatsoever. I know nothing about the Quake scene, though, and he has a legitimate professional backing him up, which is where the confusion lies. I found some more info on the guy from his linkedin, he's apparently a UT3 world champion.

He mentions getting an award from cliffyb, and more. This 100% never happened - he tried to submit himself to esportsearnings.com, you can read it here (with the amazing response from the website owner) - he faked a bunch of tournaments, this one caught my eye 'Quake Live Legend Duels Cup 2015 - $35,000 Prize Pool ' not only did he fake an event (an apparently invite only event that was casted) he faked an entire game pretending to play against dahang. In the comments for that youtube clip, he mentions how there will be another tournament, and how dahang was toying with him during the match and how the casters were going nuts. He even faked matches on his own site and tried to use it as evidence - - because Team Liquid totally has a Magic The Gathering team. He knows fatal1ty too, he plays rocket league with him. This is the only truth the anything and why everything makes sense, he's just a fata1lty wannabe - there was a video where fatal1ty actually says over voice 'wind used to be an old sparring partner back in the day'. I assumed this was him being nice and simply saying 'I used to wreck him 60-0 on lan because he lived near me and I was nice' I think somewhere in this video wendel mentions it.

The best part is the comment below - 'set the record str8 hun', from a girl named Lauren. Who's lauren? Apparently a super hot girl he met at a invite-only black ops 2 ffa tournament he won. He's coaching her now for CS:GO, he's recovering from nerve damage though, from getting pistol whipped by a thug at MLG Orlando - is it too cliche to say the guy needs help?

The moment when he started the match, doesn't grab RA and instead spams nades (down to the RL corridor where there's next to no chance of another player being (or in this case the bot) and then actually hits himself with his own nade. Is hilarious. That was literally all you need to see to know he can't play quake, he doesn't strafe, doesn't wall clip, doesn't time, has no map awareness, bad positioning, the list goes on. If he's actually been playing as long as he claims then it's actually amazing that he hasn't picked up any kind of ability or basic quake skills in that time just out of luck/playing. I agree with the first part, I wanted to laugh and I did have a little giggle at the start of that game. But overall I just feel sad. And also a little bit glad that he focuses on lying to other CSGO players instead of Quake.
