Hi, Creative have a keyboard which has a MIDI keyboard build in under the wristrest. Great idea but Creative can't be bothered to release driveers for Windows 7. The Vista drivers work for 32 bit Windows 7 but it seems impossible to get 64 bit Windows 7 to recognise the MIDI keyboard. I've installed the virtual XP on my machine but how can I get the drivers to install under the virtual XP (I assume it's in 32 bit mode) with out the 64 bit Windows 7 interfering with it? I'm asking here because Creative just refuse to discuss 64 bit issues:-( Many thanks Adrian. Hi Adrian Aitken, Thank you for posting in Microsoft Answers Forums.
I’d suggest you to update drivers for your Creative prodikeys using Windows Update. To update drivers using Windows Update You can check Windows Update any time to see if it's found updated drivers for your hardware, especially if you recently installed a new device. Then, you can install the updated drivers. Here's how: 1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.

To you guys having issues, I installed the driver from proaudiosoft.com also, I got it working on my 32bit windows 7, but my laptop running windows 7 64 bit was a no go. I reformatted the laptops drive, the installed original soft, and finally the new drivers from proaudiosoft.com. Prodikeys is working without a hitch now. I have talked to people in other forums where it installed on 64bit without a glitch, but me, I had to do the extra work. It works, just make sure for one you remove any hint of old driver, they will fight eachother.
All registry keys should be clean of. Just sharing my experience, good luck mates.
I have recently upgraded to XP 64 bit. After installing the drivers for Prodikeys DM, Device Manager registered the keyboard as 'Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard' instead of 'Creative Prodikeys' like it used to. I understand that Creative has no plans to develop 64 bit drivers for Prodikeys DM. Right now I am able to use it like a normal keyboard with a bonus volume control, but the shortcut buttons which I found very useful, playback buttons and piano keyboard are unusable. Will I be able to at least resurrect the shortcut buttons by using compatible 64 bit drivers for similar keyboards?
Help is very much appreciated.
